On November 13, 2023 the condominium bylaws were amended at the Annual General Meeting of the Royal West Indies condominium owners, and the new bylaws strictly prohibit rental by owner of units except for rentals over 90 days. This comes into effect on July 1, 2024. We were told by President of the Condominium Executive on January 4, 2024 that there will be no exceptions or extensions. We have sold our units there and left but we do continue to recommend the Pelican Bay Restaurant and Bar at RWI.
